Jessica Westcott has been representing individual, business, and government clients since 1998. Her practice focuses on employment law litigation, administrative agency matters, and workplace investigations. She advises clients on all aspects of employee relations, and defends against claims and lawsuits brought in administrative and judicial forums. Ms. Westcott has defended hundreds of federal harassment and discrimination cases and focuses on reasonable accommodation issues and retaliation claims.

As a former attorney for the federal government, Ms. Westcott has substantial and diverse industry and subject matter experience. Prior to joining Hackler Flynn & Associates, Ms. Westcott worked for the National Equal Employment Opportunity Investigative Services Office, handling discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters on behalf of several federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Navy, the U.S. Postal Service, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Throughout her career, Ms. Westcott has remained committed to effective communication and creative problem-solving. She works with clients to proactively address employment issues in ways that minimize risk and promote respect for individual differences.

Ms. Westcott is a graduate of the University of Redlands with honors, and a double major in Psychology and Writing. Ms. Westcott earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, serving as Executive Editor of the Virginia Environmental Law Review.

Ms. Westcott is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court in both the Central and Southern Districts. Ms. Westcott is also a member of the American Bar Association and the California Lawyers Association.
